cable came out to install new drv with this cable , no signal. we had to use composite cable,JG
i just wanna say thank you to amazon and bargain cell for doing a good job.i read some of the reviews for this product where some people said they did'nt receive the right item,well i just waana tell everybody i did receive the right product (24 pin dvi connector end ) and it works magnificently.i mean for only 5 dollars something (this includes shipping and handling) this thing is great i love it and i would recommend it to everyone that does,not have a hdmi input on their tv but a dvi input, get it immediately.also i got it fast for standard shipping.
after going to best buy twice to buy cables at $50/piece and then return cuz they sold me wrong ones, to hook up computers to tv monitors, i was told by a salesperson that i can buy for under 5/piece on amazon. i was thrilled, it came quickly and no surprises.
call apple support to find out what you need and order here. it is a huge rip off at the stores.
i will use them again for all my cables. but with this site, it is al cheap and easy.
i am a mom, trying to wire the kids to tvs, game cube etc w/ new apple laptop computers and not hire computer support people. when i searched amazon, it was confusing as to what i needed and this site had great pictures and descriptions and my cable was perfect and 3.50 plus shipping.
apple charges 30-50 for every cable and attachment and beleive me there is a special one needed for every little thing.
As other people have written, the picture for this product is misleading - it shows a different cable than what is offered.
Worked on my cousin's Mac too. I dont know about using it in reverse so I cannot comment on that.Vendor shipped quickly and for the price you can't go wrong. Does everything I need it to: output the video from my computer/laptop to the HDTV. No issues whatsoever.
